Summary:
SafeIT Desktop Security Suite helps you protect the files on your computer. You can for example encrypt individual files for storage or secure mail attachements. You can also permanently remove (shred) files, folders and other information.

Electronic License Agreement For Final Users
SAFEIT DESKTOP SECURITY SUITE 2006


TO THE FINAL USER:
This is a license agreement between you and SafeIT Security Sweden governing your use of the software SafeIT Desktop Security Suite 2006. By installing this software, you agree that you have read this license agreement, that you understand all parts of it and that you agree to be fully bound by its terms and conditions.

This license agreement for final users from SafeIT Security Sweden is enclosed to the SafeIT Desktop Security Suite 2006 software and the electronical information material that comes to it ("the software"). The term "software" includes all upgrades, modified versions or updates of the software that SafeIT Security Sweden give you license to.

This is a license agreement. SafeIT Security Sweden will therefore for all future be the owner of this copy of the software. When you accept this agreement SafeIT Security Sweden appropriates you a non-exclusive right to use the software, provided that you accept the following:

1. USING THE SOFTWARE
You are not allowed to further distribute any full version copies of the software.

2. COPYRIGHT - TRADEMARK
The software is in the ownership of SafeIT Security Sweden and is protected by copyright law, international conventions and other applicable, national laws in the country where this software is used.
The structure, edification and code of the software are all company secrets and confidential information that belong SafeIT Security Sweden. You are only allowed to use the trademarks to the extent that is in accordance with good practice concerning trademarks. That kind of use of trademark does not mean that you achieve any kind of right to the trademark.


3. LIMITATIONS
You accept not to modify, adapt, translate or decompile, dismantle or in any other way try to take out the source code of the software.

4. LIMITED LIABILITY
SafeIT Security Sweden supplies you with the software in its existing condition without any guarantees of any kind. SafeIT Security Sweden does not guarantee and cannot guarantee the obligations or the results that you may achieve by using the software.
Over and above the earlier mentioned limited obligations SafeIT Security Sweden gives you no further obligations or pledges, neither explicit nor implicit, concerning encroachment of rights, quality, or suitability for a certain purpose. In no cases will SafeIT Security Sweden be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including loss of profit or absence of saving, even if a representative of SafeIT Security Sweden should have been informed of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim from a third party.
SafeIT Security Sweden will never be responsible for any delay regarding delivery of the software over the Internet.

5. CHOICE OF LAW, CHOICE OF LANGUAGE AND DISPUTE SOLUTION.
5.1 Interpretation of this agreement will be governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding (I) its conflict of laws principles, (ii) the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, (iii) the 1974 Convention on the Limitation Period in the International Sale of Goods and (iv) the Protocol amending the 1974 Convention, executed at Vienna April 11th, 1980.
5.2 To the full extent permitted by law, the controlling language of this agreement is English and any translation you might have received has been provided solely for your convenience.
5.3 Any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in Sweden.

6. OBLIGATIONS OF YOURS
You agree to and are obliged to, according to this agreement, follow the laws of your country, or the country of your presence, concerning the use of, the import of or the export of encryption software for the commercial market.
